Multifunctionality and aesthetics in the lighting concept - see the new Isol lighting range from Astep

Functionality is the key focal point of the Isol lighting series from Italian designer brand Astep. The collection, which consists of pendants and floor lamps in several different sizes, presents itself in a coherent design with a consistent concept. All the lights within the collection have the same holistic design and the same beautiful creamy white textile shade that exudes classic elegance with a modern touch.

The mastermind behind this beautiful series is Danish designer David Thulstrup, who launched the Isol pendant in 2021 and later expanded the series with the Isol floor lamp in 2023. The hallmark of both models is their sound-absorbing shades that have been thoroughly tested to minimize echoes and reverberation in the room. This feature makes Isol lamps perfect for room lighting in office spaces or other areas where there is a lot of foot traffic and effective control of noise levels is needed. Larger rooms require better sound absorption. For this reason, Isol Pendant is designed to be expandable in height for more effective noise reduction. Alternatively, you can hang several pendants in clusters to enhance their sound-absorbing properties.

Isol's textile shade envelops the light source on all sides, resulting in a soft and glare-free light that spreads evenly on all sides. This makes the luminaires perfect as ambient and background lighting in larger rooms. The floor lamps also have a dimming function built into the foot switch, so you can adjust the brightness to suit any given time and purpose.
