Margit Brandt
Margit Brandt was a major world-famous Danish designer. She opened her design studio with her husband, Erik Brandt, in 1966 - and since then, the Brandt universe has grown with branches in Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany and New York. She is best known for her work in the fashion industry, where she designed several Danish Olympic uniforms, but is also responsible for a string of home accessories and lamps. Luxury, elegance and quality characterize her always trendsetting portfolio - and she has set the tone whether she was creating candlesticks or gala suits.
Margit Brandt was made a Knight of the Dannebrog in 2007.
