Greta Magnusson Grossman was a Swedish design icon, whose career was in full swing in the 40s, 50s and 60s. Her talents were reflected in her work, which ranged from sculptural to architectural. She had a flair for combining wood with then-unconventional materials like metal and plastic. Aside from her successful furniture designs, her unique style especially came through in her lamps. This is also where her delicate style and unique ability to breathe personality into her designs came into their own.
