Skygarden P2 Pendant Light Brown - FLOS

The unique Skygarden pendant light won the Edida Design Award in 2008. The light creates an almost sacred atmosphere, as its half-spherical shape is reminiscent of a dome and the plaster decoration on the inside of the light could be displayed in a church.

With its two-part design, the pendant light combines a simple exterior with a richly decorated interior.
The design was made possible by a complex and time-consuming manufacturing process.
Marcel Wanders found the inspiration for this pendant light in his former home. The white ceiling was decorated with floral ornaments, and he referred to this ceiling as his "Skygarden". It was his garden that required no water, sun or maintenance.
When he moved, he wanted to take this ceiling with him and designed this fabulous light, a design he now shares with us. Skygarden is a hemispherical lampshade cast in plaster and painted white on the inside, the light diffuses a soft light
