The Rituals ceiling lamp expresses the magic of the famous oriental rice lamp in handblown Venetian glass, treating the viewer to a fascinating chalk-like effect.
The exciting "incisions" in the surface are the result of a renewal of the traditional grinding technique used in the post-treatment of the precious glass. The graphic effect that characterises the surface enchants and seduces the viewer, while their thoughts wander to a completely different ephemeral material: rice paper stretched over a delicate bamboo frame.
