&Klevering ‘Plot’ Side Table: Sculptural Design in Green

The &Klevering ‘Plot’ side table, designed by German designer Martin Hirth for Buro Berger, combines an extraordinary form with a surprisingly simple construction. Three carefully shaped elements rest on top of one another, creating an intriguing interplay of balance and weight. Inspired by the angular, dynamic architecture of Brutalism, Plot combines striking edges with gently rounded forms. In green, the table takes on an expressive yet harmonious colour scheme.

Crafted from lime wood using a traditional, artisanal manufacturing process by craftspeople in Poland, simple sheet material is transformed into a three-dimensional form full of character. The asymmetrical design ensures that the table looks different from every angle: at times, Plot appears compact and solid; at others, more open and lighter. This makes the side table itself a sculptural element in the room and allows for versatile use in the living room or bedroom.
