NJP table lamp with base, black, 2,700 K – Louis Poulsen

The NJP table lamp with black base was designed by Oki Sato, who works for the Japanese design studio Nendo.
The NJP table lamp is a reinterpretation of the classic desk lamp. The simple and stylish design of the lamp means that its functional components have been exposed, giving it a look that speaks for itself.
The possible applications of this light have been carefully thought out: the two joints on the lamp arm provide great flexibility and make it easy for you to adjust the light to your liking. As an additional detail, the springs in the joints of the arms are visible, which further emphasises the decorative expression of the light. The opening at the back of the lampshade, where the arm is attached, ensures smooth adjustment of the head and good ventilation of the LED units.
The luminaire emits direct, glare-free horizontal light, while at the same time part of the light is reflected into the room through the opening at the rear of the head.
The ergonomic design of the luminaire's head shapes the light cone and is responsible for its optimal direction. A simple mechanical system gives the light great freedom of movement, so that the light can always be optimally adjusted to the working area.
