The Multi-Lite Portable Table Lamp in Brass/Pastel Grey by Gubi is a portable table lamp that adds a further layer of flexibility to one of the 20th century’s most adaptable lighting designs. In collaboration with Louis Weisdorf’s family, Gubi has reimagined the Multi-Lite design in a more compact form, featuring a USB charging station and a three-stage touch-activated dimming function. The iconic ring now serves as a handle, allowing the light to be carried both inside and outside the home – perfect for outdoor events and cosy evenings al fresco.
The Multi-Lite is popular for its futuristic appearance and adjustable lampshade, and is one of the most iconic lamps of the 20th century. With the launch of the portable version, Gubi offers new versatility, and with four new colours and a high-gloss finish, the lamp now suits even more settings. The pastel grey colour emphasises the light’s simple form, whilst its light weight and tactile grip make it easy to carry.
The lampshades can be adjusted manually to change the direction of the light, and two diffusers prevent glare and create pleasant indirect light. The small discs on the outer ring act as a dimmer, allowing you to adjust the brightness as required to create the right atmosphere.
