The Moser Pendant was designed in 2002 by the Swedish ceramicist Anu Moser. The inspiration for the lamp’s various shapes came when the designer observed a mass of glass and noticed how it took shape as it was handblown. The lamp is designed for energy-saving bulbs, and Anu Moser chose the enclosed teardrop shape so that the light source cannot be seen, as it is 100 per cent shielded. The suspension mechanism is patented.
An elegant, organic and teardrop-shaped pendant lamp, particularly suited to being hung in groups.
The Moser pendant provides diffused lighting. The designer drew inspiration from the characteristics found in handblown glass, created without the use of tools – the shapes are captured at their various stages of formation, which can be seen in the three sizes of the Moser pendant.
