The FL/Y pendant light is made from coloured, transparent methacrylate. The lampshade is not shaped as a perfect hemisphere; instead, the secant plane lies below the diameter, thereby allowing it to capture as much light as possible. The shape and transparency of the lampshade are reminiscent of a soap bubble.
The interior finish of this FL/Y pendant light is matt black. Kartell recommends that you hang the light before removing the protective film, so as to minimise the risk of cracks forming in the light.
The package includes a warm white E27 LED bulb with a power rating of 15 W.
The light was designed by Ferruccio Laviani.
