The Strand Table Lamp White references design history while remaining modern in its expression. The soft, playful and sculptural design of the lamp includes a compact base and a voluminous lampshade covered in a thin but durable white tissue paper that gives the lamp a column-like appearance. The column shape is also emphasised by the metal skeleton behind it, which creates regular grooves in the shade fabric and mimics the fluting on antique columns. The lampshade encloses the light source on all sides, so the light only shines out indirectly to each side. When the lamp is switched on, the entire lampshade lights up in a soft, uniform glow that makes the lamp look like a cloud in the sky. The filtered light provides a pleasant effect and high light quality at the same time. The lamp is equipped with an inline dimmer so you can adjust and set the brightness to suit your needs.
