The French designer Frederick Gautier is known for his concrete objects – understated and minimalist – which clearly draw on modernist and brutalist architecture. With the STEEL GREY FCK table lamp, he has created an aluminium version in a simple, uncluttered form. The table lamp consists of nothing more than the essentials: a straight horizontal form and a straight vertical form. A minimalist vocabulary, almost self-explanatory. Through the use of concrete and aluminium, the lamp retains a particularly sober, slightly raw texture that contrasts sharply with the warmth of the home’s living room. It brings a calm, structuring architectural presence to the interior. Fitted with two G9 sockets, the light can be fitted with G9 LED bulbs up to 5 W.
