The PH 3/2 pendant in high-gloss chrome is a very attractive and stylish pendant.
The very popular PH 3/2 pendant lamp is part of the 3-shade family, designed by Poul Henningsen, who designed the 3-shade system back in 1925-1926, when PH, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, designed the first lamps for an exhibition in Paris. Throughout his life, PH tried to create glare-free light that could be directed where it was needed and cast a soft shadow. PH designed not just a lamp, but an entire system, and thousands of different models were produced over the years. The number of the PH lamp refers to the size of the shade. The PH 3/2 pendant consists of an outer shade measuring approx. 30 cm, but the middle and inner shades from the model called 2/2 were used here. The PH 3/2 pendant was introduced in its current form in 1999.

Classic, pretty, timeless – it has many names, and when it comes to PH 3/2, there are also many variants. Not only is it available as a pendant, chandelier, wall lamp and table lamp, but you can also choose between different chrome-plated surfaces.
The PH 3/2 pendant lamp was designed based on the principle of creating a reflective multi-shade system based on a logarithmic spiral, where the focal point of the light source is placed in the centre of the spiral. The handblown three-layer opal glass, which is clear on the outside and sandblasted on the inside, emits a soft and diffuse light.
