Palma LED pendant light – a hanging, illuminated garden for indoor use
The Palma LED pendant light by Antoni Arola combines light and vegetation to create a unique design element for interiors. Inspired by the hanging gardens of antiquity, it creates a harmonious connection between nature and modern lighting.
The light consists of two elements: a sphere made of handblown opal glass with integrated LEDs provides warm, even light. The sphere consists of two hemispheres held together by an aluminium ring, giving it a slightly flattened appearance reminiscent of the shape of a globe. Below the light sphere is a plastic plant bowl that creates the impression of a small hanging garden.
The combination of light and plants creates a lively installation that changes over time, creating a cosy atmosphere indoors and conveying warmth and life, especially on cold winter days.
