My New Flame in black from Ingo Maurer is the lamp for people who think the Flying Flames chandelier is a little over the top.
The body is a slim and rectangular printed sheet that levitates from a couple of thin wires. The top of the sheet is mounted with 128 individual, small, dimmable LED lights that can be turned on and off, making them look like flickering candles. The lamp only uses 0.6 Watt and is therefore ideal mood lighting.
The batteries are hidden in the base of the lamp and can be charged by USB. You need 4 rechargeable AA batteries, which are not included.
These lamps are made-to-order as they are manufactured in limited collections, so expect a delivery time of four to five weeks.
