Concept
3.5W (250lm) opal drop E14 bulb.
This has 250 lm, which corresponds to approx. 25W.
The warm light of the bulb corresponds to 2700 Kelvin and with a colour rendering index (CRI) of over 95, the light colour is optimally reproduced.
If you are having difficulty navigating the confusion surrounding light bulbs, here is a brief explanation of the most important facts you should be aware of.

The light output (lm = lumen) is the light output of a bulb.
Here are some guidelines.
15W = 140 lumens
25W = 250 lumens
40W = 470 lumens
60W = 800 lumens
75W = 1050 lumens
100W = 1520 lumens

In addition, you will find the CRI or RA (colour rendering index) for each bulb.
The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) is the colour rendering index used to characterise light sources. It is an index for the naturalness of colour. The higher the colour rendering index, the more natural colours are rendered and the more pleasant they are perceived to be. The value can range from 0 to 100 and is decisive for the colour rendering of illuminated objects.

100 CRI offers the best colour rendering and corresponds to daylight.
For a residential building, we recommend a bulb with a CRI of over 80.

The light colour (K=Kelvin) describes the colour appearance of the light from a bulb. It is characterised by the colour temperature measured in Kelvin. Certain light colours can have different colour rendering properties and thus influence the atmosphere of a room. Warm white light is perceived as cosy and comfortable. Cool white light is perceived as more objective.
A lamp with a Kelvin rating of 2,700–3,000 emits a warm light.
4,000–4,500 Kelvin degrees offers a neutral to cool light and is the optimal value for work lighting.
Candle 1,900 K
Traditional light bulb 2,700–2,900 K
Fluorescent bulb 2,800–6,000 K
Moonlight 4,100 K
Daylight 5,000 – 6,000 K

If you need extra energy during the dark months, you should choose a bulb with a Kelvin rating of 6,000 or more.
