The 304SW wall light is an icon of the 20th century. Its origins date back to 1922, when Bernard-Albin Gras developed the first designs for his pioneering series of lights. Originally conceived for offices and industrial environments, the series continues to impress to this day with its simple, robust yet ergonomic design. The characteristic construction requires no screws or welded joints.

The lights in DCW’s Lampe Gras series combine functionalism and aesthetics in a distinctive way. From the arms and the body, through the fittings, to the assembly of the individual components, every detail has been carefully thought out. The extraordinary design language was far ahead of its time. Le Corbusier, too, was an early admirer of the Lampe Gras’s modern design and used the lights in his projects.

Today, the lights in the Lampe Gras series are sought-after collector’s items worldwide, particularly in France, the USA and Japan. Bernard-Albin Gras’s visionary design has proven to be timeless over the decades.

Installation note: This model is intended for fixed wall mounting with a switch. Alternatively, the light is available as a recessed version without a switch (version 304) and with a cable for connection to a power point (version 304CA).
