The 304CA wall light is part of a family of lights with an extraordinary design history. Its origins date back to 1922, when Bernard-Albin Gras developed his first designs. Since then, the range has been continuously expanded. Originally conceived for offices and industrial settings, the series is characterised by its simple, robust yet ergonomic design. The basic construction requires no screws or welded joints.

The Lampe Gras series by DCW combines functionalism and aesthetics to create a distinctive design language. Arms, bodies, fittings and other components have been designed with great care, resulting in an exceptionally well-thought-out construction. The innovative design was far ahead of its time and already impressed Le Corbusier, who used Lampe Gras lights in his projects.

Today, the lights in the Lampe Gras range are sought-after design and collector’s items worldwide, particularly in France, the USA and Japan. Bernard-Albin Gras’s visionary design has proved timeless and continues to define the range to this day.

The 304CA version is fitted with a cable for connection to a power point and is therefore particularly suitable for installations where direct recessed mounting is not required.
