The lamp has a solid, round base and a two-part frame in a satin nickel finish. The two frame rods run parallel to each other until they elegantly curve out to either side to hold the bowl-shaped lampshade made of opal white glass. The lampshade provides a harmonious up-light that illuminates the surroundings in an indirect glow.
At the same time, the lamp has a secondary light source in the form of a reading lamp that provides direct and focussed lighting. The two lights can be operated independently of each other via two switches on the frame.
