The French designer Frederick Gautier is known for his concrete objects – understated and minimalist – which clearly draw on modernist and brutalist architecture. With the CEMENT FCK table lamp, he created a concrete light for the Belgian design brand Serax in a simple, unadorned form. It consists of nothing more than the essentials: a straight horizontal form and a straight vertical form. A minimalist vocabulary, almost self-explanatory. The use of concrete gives the lamp a particularly austere, slightly raw texture, which contrasts sharply with the warmth of the home’s living room. It brings a calm, structuring architectural presence to the interior. Fitted with two G9 sockets, the light can be fitted with G9 LED bulbs up to 5 W.
