Concept
Captain is an eye-catching lamp. Inspired by the studio lamp, the design is at once industrial and retro. The lampshade is constructed around two lampshades—one small to hide the light source and let the light shine onto the golden inside, and one large to reflect a warm and diffuse glow into the room.
The golden inside forms a beautiful contrast to the matte exterior, giving the lamp a patinated vintage look. Despite the size and distinct character of the lamp, it has a discreet glow that doesn’t dominate your décor.
The lamp is part of a collection comprising a floor lamp, pendant, and wall lamp. Regardless of which lamp you fall for, it’s bound to lend an amazing glow to your home and serve as a sculptural feature—even when it’s turned off..
