The Beak Bird Awake Snipe Oak by Warm Nordic is a finely crafted wooden figure with a unique expression. Designed by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen, the figure combines Scandinavian clarity with a playful, almost humorous character.
Each bird is made from oiled solid oak, giving it an individual grain. The small base made of smoked oak gives the figure stability and provides a calm contrast to the lighter wood. As part of the Beak Bird series, Awake Snipe is one of four different character figures and is suitable as a decorative object for living or working areas as well as a gift.

Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen is best known for his lighting designs from the 1950s. In addition to lighting objects, he also designed graphic and sculptural works that showcase his sense of form, proportion and personality.
