Almendra S2 Y Short Pendant Light Primer Bay Blue Metallized is an extraordinary design that stands out from all the rest. Design company FLOS and designer Patricia Urquiola have collaborated to create this unique light that inspires wonder. The Almendra lamp is a modular lighting system whose shape and colour are reminiscent of an almond tree, from which the design takes its name. The unique and aesthetic light was an ambitious project in terms of design and materials. The result is a combination of poetry and sustainability that can only be achieved through sublime design and cutting-edge technology.

The Almendra design is available in a variety of stunning finishes and colours, so you can get the version that best suits your interior décor. The series consists of an S2 Short and S2 Long pendant light with two petals at each end of the "stem"; S3, S4 and S6 pendant lights are composed of a linear row of either 3-6 petals; S2 Y Short pendant light and S2 Y Long pendant light both have petals at one end in a beautiful Y shape.
The Almendra S3, S4 and S6 pendant lights consist of either 3, 4 or 6 petals labelled A, B, C, D, E and F, which can be assembled in a system of your choice to create your own design expression and individual light that suits your needs and style. the A leaf points downwards, B can be rotated by -60°, C can be rotated by -120°, D can be rotated upwards, E can be rotated by +120° and F can be rotated by +60°. Therefore, D (up) + A (down) + D (up) can work well together to create a balanced light. Please note that the combination of, for example, D (up) + A (down) + B (-60°) does NOT work together, as there will be an imbalance.
One thing that the various Almendra lights have in common is their sustainability, as every single part of the lights can be dismantled and reused. The petals are also made of a special polycarbonate produced from a residual product of paper production, which gives the light a sustainable touch that is of fundamental importance in the modern design world. In addition, they all have a Kelvin value of 2700, meaning they emit a warm white light colour that creates a cosy and relaxed atmosphere throughout the room. Furthermore, the light is dimmable on all luminaires, allowing you to obtain exactly the light intensity that suits your needs and mood.
