The LED 5W (100lm) Vintage Globe 3-step Dimm E27 bulb from Colours is a decorative bulb with a diameter of 125 mm.
100 lumens.
3-step dimmable.
5 watts.
1800 Kelvin
It can be difficult to choose the right bulb. What is the light like and where are the different bulbs best used? We would like to try to shed some light on the matter.

The socket:
Check which socket you need.

Dimmable bulb:
Make sure that the bulb is dimmable; this is always stated on the packaging. Halogen bulbs are always dimmable.

Colour rendering:
Choose a bulb that has good colour rendering. To do this, the bulb must have a Ra index of at least 90. At least in those areas of your establishment where colour rendering is particularly important.
The 3-step function allows you to dim the lamp using the switch on the lamp. A bulb with this function cannot be used with a dimmer connection.
With a 3-step bulb, also known as a scene switch, each lamp is dimmable in three stages using the switch on the lamp. Here's how it works: Switch on once: Full power. Switch on twice: Approx. 50% of level 1. Switch on three times: Approx. half of level 2 (The level varies from bulb to bulb).
For this to work, the lamp must be switched on and off quickly in succession. Most bulbs will then maintain the last level set.
The 3-step bulb can also be used in a pendant light; simply use the switch on the wall to set the level.

The colour of the light:
A lamp with a Kelvin rating of 2,700-3,300 gives off a warm light. 3,300-4,000 Kelvin gives off a neutral light, and a Kelvin rating above 4,000 Kelvin gives off a cool light – which is not suitable for private homes.
A Kelvin rating of 2,500-2,700 is best for relaxation. 4,000-4,500 Kelvin is best for working, and a Kelvin rating above 6,000 can give you extra energy and possibly help to combat winter depression.
