Two new beautiful colour variants of the Ray pendant light from Globen Lighting

Openness, transparency, lightness and grace are the key words to describe the Ray lighting collection from Swedish Globen Lighting. The series, which consists of pendant, floor and ceiling lights, is designed and conceived by Irish designer Patrick Hall, who also works as CEO of Globen Lighting. After 30 years as a project manager and design engineer, Hall is behind several successful lamp collections and series.

A distinctive feature of all lamps in the Ray series is their open, double metal shade. However, the hard, solid medium is offset by the shape, characterised by soft curves and slight asymmetry. This adds a delicate elegance and a beautiful organic feel to the overall design, creating the impression of a light and floating screen - a true highlight in interior design. So far, the pendants have only been available in neutral colours and a brass version. Now, however, the beautiful design returns in a bright green and blue version that further enhances the design with its beautiful play of colours.

The artistic openness of the pendant's design embraces the light source but does not shield it, ensuring clear, direct illumination while making the bulb an important visual part of the lamp's overall expression. For the same reason, the lamp is equipped with an E27 socket that fits a wide variety of bulb types. Here you can choose a globe bulb that beautifully complements the optics of the lamp and adds a decorative element to the overall ensemble. Particularly characteristic of Ray is the flexible layout of the screens, which makes it possible to arrange them in multiple ways. Here you can choose whether you want to arrange the lamps opposite each other in a beautiful mirror effect or inside each other to create an ingenious interplay between the pattern in both shades.
