It all began in 1986 with flowerpots. The brand was founded by brothers Serge and Axel Van Den Bossche. Today, Axel leads the family business. The collections are created as a team in Antwerp, together with designers from all over the world.
Forty years later, it has become an international brand. It has never lost sight of its origins.
Serax collaborates with names such as Ann Demeulemeester, Kelly Wearstler, Piet Boon, Paola Navone and Vincent Van Duysen. There are also chefs like Ottolenghi and Sergio Herman, as well as emerging talents.
The collections differ in style and material. What unites them is a focus on usability and design quality.
Serax follows a clear principle: design should be accessible, functional and of high quality. Four values shape their work:
