The Multi-Lite was designed in 1972 by Louis Weisdorf, out of a love of variety – and it is still regarded today as one of the most versatile designs of the 20th century. of the 20th century. Two cylindrical shades can be rotated freely around the base: the light can shine upwards, downwards or asymmetrically in two directions – each position creating a new look, almost like a small sculpture. For the portable version, GUBI has adapted this idea into a more compact format without altering its distinctive style. The distinctive ring, once merely a design feature, now serves as a handle.

The colour is new: a deep, rich Clover Green, which looks all the more vibrant against polished chrome. It also features a built-in USB rechargeable battery, a three-step touch dimmer and warm white light at 2,700 K, which creates a calm atmosphere in any room.
