Modern Italian design meets soft Scandinavian aesthetics in the beautiful Rochelle series from DFTP

Experience a balanced sense of harmony and elegance with the beautiful Rochelle lighting collection from Design For The People. The series, which includes wall, floor and pendant lights, is designed by Danish interior designer Charlotte Høncke, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture in 2002 and has had her own design studio in Aarhus since 2010. Høncke's focus is on creating designs that are functional and beautiful - at the same time - with interesting details that make them stand out. This approach is evident both in the Rochelle series and in the other beautiful creations she has designed for DFTP.

Form and functionality go hand in hand in the Rochelle series, and the design of Rochelle is characterised by a particular rigour that is reflected in all the lamps in the series. Combined with the black monochrome exterior, this creates a modern look that is easy to integrate into your interior design. Inside, however, the screen is white, allowing light to be reflected on the inside for an even clearer light image. As the light source is placed well inside the slim lamp head, you are also guaranteed a glare-free light.

All Rochelle lamps are characterised by a slim, sculpted lampshade with a distinctive carved light output that follows the same soft curves as the rest of the shade, beautifully exemplifying Høncke's ability to rethink classic designs in new, unexpected twists. The adjustable lamp head allows you to adjust the direction of the light to create your own unique lighting arrangement, making the lamps perfect for creating a cosy and inspiring atmosphere next to your bed or above your kitchen table.
