Autumn is upon us – and with it come two new releases from Louis Poulsen that cast a fresh light on familiar icons.

The PH 3/2 table lamp is available in four new colours: burgundy, beige, dark blue and dark green. Poul Henningsen’s design combines high-quality brass with hand-blown glass; the glossy finish adds a stylish touch, whilst the white interior of the shades ensures an even, glare-free distribution of light. The distinctive three-shade design is as functional as it is decorative – making the PH 3/2 the perfect addition to living and dining areas, where it blends seamlessly into sophisticated design schemes.

More delicate, yet no less striking: the PH 5 320 pendant lamp in new pastel shades – rosé, light blue, beige and white. The opal polymer shades combine the glare-free, downwards-directed light of the PH system with a soft, diffused ambient glow that evenly envelops the room. Whether above the dining table, in the kitchen or in the living room, it serves as both general lighting and an eye-catcher.

In 1958, Poul Henningsen designed the PH 5 in response to ever-changing light bulbs. Almost seven decades later, the principle remains the same – only the colour is new.
