Ceramique Down table lamp from Flos offers ceramic art and great design in a delightful union

The simple composition of shapes, the solid natural material, the monochrome, glazed surface and the holistic structure - all testify to solid design craftsmanship of the highest quality. Ceramique Down is an efficient light source in an aesthetic design that beautifies the living room, office and bedroom. The lamp is the result of a collaboration between Italian lighting company Flos and brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, both trained designers who have worked with several design companies to turn ideas into reality and produce beautiful creations.

Ceramique Down is part of a larger series of lamps with differently oriented shades and in several beautiful colours. The lamps are made of lead-free, fired clay with a beautiful, shiny surface glaze. The Down version comes in rust red, navy blue and moss green. The three colours have been carefully selected to create eye-catchers and draw attention to the design of the lamp, but without distracting or dominating the interior. All Ceramique lamps have the same simple composition with a round base, a rectangular frame and a bell-shaped diffuser with a wide light output that ensures an efficient and diffused downlight. The light source is a built-in LED module that emits energy-efficient, downward illumination. The light output is shielded by a matte cover that evens out the light for a pleasant, uniform appearance. At the same time, the strategic placement of the light output ensures no glare. This makes Ceramique Down ideal as a bedside, reading or even task light.
