Enigma

Enigma 425 was designed by Japanese designer Shoichi Uchiyama in 2003. Uchiyama presented Louis Poulsen with a design idea of floating shades made of ultra-thin wires for a transparent and lightweight look. The Enigma lamp fitted well into Louis Poulsen's product philosophy and was a reinterpretation of the multi-shade system and Japanese gracefulness combined with Scandinavian simplicity.

More about Enigma Pendants

Enigma means "enigmatic", referring to the seemingly free-floating shades when the lamp is switched on and viewed from a distance. The enigmatic and floating screens that elegantly caress the visual impression.

Enigma Pendant emits a high-quality, glare-free soft light. The illumination of the shades gives a floating and sculptural character to the Enigma pendant. Choose from sizes 425, 545 and the very large 825 below.
