VL Studio Wall Lamp Ø150 Brass was designed for the Danish broadcasting company’s old headquarters in Copenhagen back in the 1940s. The lamps were placed outside the recording studios to indicate whether a recording was in progress. The iconic architect designed many lamps for the VL collection, and the VL Studio lamp was relaunched in 2022. VL Studio is similar to the Radiohus Pendant, as they both shine a diffuse and comfortable light through the opal white glass, creating a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. VL Studio is based on the original lamp head and materials, namely polished brass with a brushed finish and in a matte black hue that gives the lamp a graphic, simple, and modern expression compared to the polished brass, which radiates warmth.
The table lamp comes in various sizes, making it perfect for tables and floors as you see fit. No matter where you place the lamp, it contributes a modern touch and warm atmosphere with its simplicity, elegance, and exclusive materials. The VL Studio design also comes as a wall lamp, which emits a soft, glare-free, diffuse glow through the three-layer opal glass. The glass ensures a uniform light. The wall lamp’s lampshade can be tilted 90 degrees to the left and the right, allowing you to adapt the light distribution to suit your needs.
