The Discobolux, also known as the Discus Thrower, is a very, very famous classical statue measuring 155 centimetres in height and celebrated for its fantastic proportions. Uto Balmoral borrowed that shape and in doing so, he created Seletti's intriguing lamp called Discobolux.
The neo-antique feel shines through, and the references to classical art mean that Discobolux fits perfectly with, for example, also from Seletti.
The lamp is made of epoxy resin and the light source is hidden in the discus held by the athlete, giving off a soft, warm light. Use Discobolux in the living room as an artistic and humorous addition to the decor - or use it as a bedside table lamp and introduce Seletti atypicality to the bedroom.
